Irricana Artist COOP

Wow, I did not post for so long. This does not mean that I have not been busy. There is new collection of semiprecious stones  and metal chain jewellery that I created in the meantime. I'll write more about it shortly once I organize the pictures.

A lot of my time and care goes these days to Irricana Artist COOP that I joined recently. We have Grasshopper Gallery on the main street in Irricana. http://grasshoppergallery.wordpress.com/

I totally fell in love with the lovely little community, houses with painted murals, and wonderful, friendly people. If you drive to Drumheller, do not forget to stop at Irricana (it is actually a shortcut if you look at the map).

Netted Necklaces

Life is good! I  discovered new tricks: Victorian netting and  Russian spiral.

#478 - Saphire died druzy pendant with sterling silver beads and Victorian netted necklace of navy blue, light blue and light gray glass pearls and green glass seed beads. The set has matching bracelet. Magnetic clasp in both the necklace and the bracelet makes them easy to put on.

#477- A centerpiece of rectangular faceted rose quartz and sterling silver on a Russian spiral weaved necklace made of Swarowski crystals, glass pearls and clear glass silver lined seed beads; magnetic clasp.

#476 - Victorian netting of orange glass seed beads, with green and yellow cat eyes and cream color glass pearls. The centerpiece is a handmade arisan glass bead in orange and green. the mnecklace has a magnetic clasp

Spring 2010 Collection with Chain and Semi-Precious Stones

I have been busy recently with my other-side-of-brain activities, but found time to create a few sets "en vogue" for spring. Sorry for the so-so pictures - I'll improve them before putting on http://www.jolantafashions.ca/ .

#485 - Brazilian agate ovals and square links and with gold plated and brass chain and matching earrings. the necklace is really long -111cm - which means in can be wrapped around twice.

#473 - The neclace is built with four flat squares of red jasper (beutiful play of brownish red and beige color) with large square copper links and various stylecopper chains. It has matching earrings of copper and jasper.

#470  - Nothing says "Spring" like butteflies. This neclace features brass butterfly charms with olive jade and glass beads on a double brass chain with added stands of gold plated chain, The matchiung earring are matching butterflies and jade.

New Swarovski Crystals Jewellery

I made several new sets using Swarovski crystals. This is sneak preview before I put details on the website  http://www.jolantafashions.ca/.
BTW, I would appreciate good tips on how to photograph crystals. These pieces are much nicer in reality than on the picture.
