Jolanta attended a fundraiser for Art Gallery of Calgary, ArtWear 2010, and donated a beutiful set of quartz and sterling silver beaded necklace, bracelet and earrings for the silent auction. It was a good opportunity to introduce Jolanta Fashions new brochure.

Jewellery Making Class - Russian Spiral - at Irricana Grasshopper Gallery

 Place: Grasshopper Gallery at Irricana (main street, next to gas station).

Cost: $20 instruction + $20 - material (optional - you may bring your own if you wish).

Material needed: 3 colors of 3-4 mm round beads (glass pearls, crystals, glass, stone) + 1 color seed beads size 8-11, magnetic clasp  + other beads for embellishment (optional).

Market Collective in Kensington - August 21 - 22, 2010

Jolanta Fashions is coming to Market Collective on August21-22, 2010. Market Collective is located in the old Ant Hill building in Kensington. Irricana Artist COOP

Wow, I did not post for so long. This does not mean that I have not been busy. There is new collection of semiprecious stones  and metal chain jewellery that I created in the meantime. I'll write more about it shortly once I organize the pictures.

A lot of my time and care goes these days to Irricana Artist COOP that I joined recently. We have Grasshopper Gallery on the main street in Irricana. http://grasshoppergallery.wordpress.com/

I totally fell in love with the lovely little community, houses with painted murals, and wonderful, friendly people. If you drive to Drumheller, do not forget to stop at Irricana (it is actually a shortcut if you look at the map).
